Actalent is seeking a Calibration Technician for a large-scale pharmaceutical expansion in Holly Springs, NC. The role focuses on commissioning, startup, calibration, and maintenance within a GMP environment.

You will handle loop checks, calibrations, and documentation while supporting startup activities and safety compliance. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in calibration or related fields, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to read P&IDs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in calibration or related field.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting equipment.
• Strong documentation skills.
• Experience in GMP or regulated environment preferred.
• Ability to read P&IDs and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibrations on temperature, pressure, flow, conductivity and pH instrumentation.
• Support equipment startup, commissioning, and operational readiness.
• Conduct loop checks and troubleshoot instrumentation.
• Work with 4-20mA transmitters and process instrumentation.
• Complete calibration records and GMP-compliant paperwork.
• Support preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Read and interpret P&IDs and instrumentation docs.
