Job summary

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of calibration experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Hands-on calibration of process equipment and process instrumentation.
• Experience with loop checks and 4–20 mA transmitters.
• Knowledge of GMPs and life sciences industry regulations.
• Ability to read P&IDs and technical data to plan tasks.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibrations, qualifications, and PMs on process, utility, manufacturing, and laboratory instruments, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct loop checks for temperature, pressure, humidity, and pH, including 4–20 mA transmitters.
• With guidance, perform flow, conductivity, pH, mass, and dimensional calibrations, expanding scope over time.
• Prepare detailed calibration reports referencing standards and limits, maintaining thorough documentation.
• Handle and maintain test and standards equipment for calibration readiness.
• Learn to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs while focusing on scheduled calibrations.
• Review P&IDs and instrumentation documentation to plan tasks effectively.
• Apply lockout/tagout and site safety procedures to ensure a safe environment.
• Assess client environments and requirements to implement effective calibration solutions.
• Build strong relationships with client personnel and internal teams through clear communication.
• Work with minimal supervision within a defined scope and show initiative.
• Maintain high attention to detail and quality in reports and tasks.
