Job summary

FITS, LLC in Puerto Rico is seeking a Control/Automation Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automated facilities and equipment, including PLCs and SCADA systems. The role requires an associate degree and hands-on experience.

You will be bilingual (Spanish/English), familiar with cGMP and FDA/EMA regulations, and able to work 12-hour shifts. The position involves collaborating with vendors, supporting installation and upgrades, and maintaining CMMS records.

Qualifications

• Associate degree with hands-on experience as Control/Automation Technician.
• Knowledge of cGMP, FDA/EMA regulations, and 21 CFR Part 1.
• Fluent in Spanish and English (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facilities, utilities and automation equipment including PLCs and drives.
• Provide technical support for installation, configuration, integration, troubleshooting, and qualification of computerized systems.
• Maintain software and documentation for automation systems; support CMMS spare parts/maintenance planning.
• Write and review SOPs and work instructions for automated equipment.
• Collaborate with vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues; ensure cGMP/EHS compliance.
