The agency is seeking a highly qualified candidate for the position of PH Envir Compl Specialist 1 within the Fulton County Board of Health in the Community Health Services/Environmental Health Division. This position will be stationed in our North Fulton District office in Alpharetta.

Examples of duties

Inspect various types of food service establishments, public swimming pools, tourist accommodations, body art establishments, and onsite sewage management systems. Investigate complaints related to rodents, and mosquitoes within regulated facilities. May assist with reviewing plans and recommending enforcement action as necessary.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, which includes the completion of 27 semester or 40 quarter hours in laboratory sciences (e.g., chemistry, biology, geology, physics, etc.).
