The agency is seeking a highly qualified candidate for the position of Healthcare Prgm Consultant 2 within the Fulton County Board of Health in the Human Resources/Workforce Development Division.

This is a Workforce Grant position.

Job Responsibilities

• Under general supervision, provides technical assistance and training within a health care specialty.
• Plans, directs, and implements a specialty program.
• Evaluates programs for compliance with state and/or federal guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university and three (3) years of experience performing work related to area of assignment;
• or seven (7) years of experience performing work related to area of assignment;
• or one (1) year of experience at the lower level Healthcare Prgm Consultant 1 (HCP090) or position equivalent. Note: Some positions may require licensure.

Requires the ability to do so within the context of existing organizational theories and management principles.
• Human Interaction: Requires the ability to function in a managerial capacity for a division or organizational unit; includes the ability to make decisions on procedural and technical levels.
• Equipment, Machinery, Tools, and Materials Utilization: Requires the ability to operate and control the actions of equipment and machinery, requiring the monitoring, adjustment, regulation, and/or setting of multiple conditions.
• Verbal Aptitude: Requires the ability to utilize a wide variety of references, descriptive, advisory, and/or design data and information.
• Mathematical Aptitude: Requires the ability to perform moderately complex algebraic and geometric operations; ability to utilize principles of basic probability and statistical inference.
• Functional Reasoning: Requires the ability to apply principles of logical or synthesis functions; deal with concrete and abstract variables; and analyze major problems that require complex planning for interrelated activities that can span one or several work units.
• Situational Reasoning: Requires the ability to exercise judgment, decisiveness, and creativity in critical and/or unexpected situations involving moderate risk to the organization.
