Mass General Brigham is seeking a part-time Respiratory Therapist/Pulmonary Function Technologist in Boston. The role performs pulmonary function tests, ABG punctures, and related diagnostics, while supporting PFT labs and satellite clinics.

You will educate patients, collaborate with physicians and IT, and participate in quality improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate holds an active MA license, RRT credential, and 1–3 years of experience; BLS is required and ACLS is desirable.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts license as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• 1–3 years’ experience preferred; recent grads considered.

Responsabilités

• Perform Pulmonary Function Tests and arterial blood gas punctures.
• Assist with PFT lab policies and scheduling.
• Provide patient education on procedures and device use.
• Coordinate with staff, vendors, and IT for diagnostics and software.
• Participate in quality improvement and research projects.
• Supervise students when applicable.
• Maintain age-specific care knowledge for diverse patients.
