Mass General Brigham is seeking a Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT) Technologist to join the patient care team on-site at 100 Blossom Street. The role focuses on spirometry, lung volumes, DLCO, oximetry, ABG, and equipment calibration, with emphasis on accurate documentation in Epic/ComPAS.

The ideal candidate will promote a patient-focused environment, participate in training, and adhere to infection control standards while supporting continuous care for patients and families.

Qualifications

• Coach patients through diagnostic pulmonary tests (spirometry, DLCO, ABG)
• Maintain and calibrate PFT equipment and test areas
• Document results accurately in the EHR systems
• Assist in training new technologists and maintain yearly competencies
• Follow infection control policies and ensure patient-focused care

Responsabilités

• Perform spirometry with bronchodilator testing and DLCO measurements
• Record and report test results in the EMR
• Assist in patient positioning and ensuring comfort during procedures
• Stock supplies and maintain a clean, safe testing environment
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing education
