Mass General Brigham in Boston is seeking a Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT) Technologist to join the patient care team. You will coach patients through diagnostic tests, operate and calibrate PFT equipment, and document results in Epic.

This role emphasizes patient-focused care, collaboration with the care team, and ongoing learning during the training period to develop expertise in respiratory diagnostics and unit procedures.

Qualifications

• Must interact effectively with patients and promote teamwork.
• Must prioritize multiple diagnostic tasks and adapt to pace changes.
• 4–12 weeks of paid training to acquire familiarity with procedures.

Responsabilités

• Coach patients through diagnostic pulmonary testing to include: spirometry, lung volumes, DLCO, oximetry, ABG.
• Maintain and calibrate PFT equipment.
• Assist in the training of newly hired technologists.
• Document testing in ComPAS and Epic.
• Follow infection control policies and maintain a clean environment.
• Participate in meetings and maintain patient-focused care.
