Job summary

Unum is seeking a Paid Leave Consultant to drive the development and implementation of new statutory PFML offerings. The role leads cross-functional project groups, coordinates with legal, implementation, and benefits teams, and supports customers in creating compliant paid leave policies.

You will serve as an expert on PFML regulations, represent Unum in client meetings, and contribute to webinars and training programs.

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 7 years claims, FMLA, Paid Leave, legal compliance or project management experience.
• Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of claim and leave processing and understanding of regulatory and compliance landscape related to statutory benefits.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead large, cross-functional project initiatives within timeframes and quality measures.
• Manage complex implementations for corporate and statutory paid leave plans.
• Consult with clients and internal partners to design compliant corporate paid leave policies.
• Provide education and training via webinars and client engagements on PFML topics.
