Job summary

Unum seeks a Paid Leave Consultant to drive statutory and corporate PFML initiatives, leading cross-functional teams across Benefits, Legal, IT, and Operations. You will translate policy into actionable processes and guide client deployments of new PFML offerings.

You will support implementation, provide expert consultation, and develop training materials to ensure compliant, timely service for Unum’s customers and brokers.

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Minimum 7 years claims, FMLA, Paid Leave, legal compliance or project management experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex implementations for corporate and statutory paid leave plans.
• Support Go-To-Market initiatives related to corporate paid leave.
• Assist customers in developing legally compliant corporate paid leave policies.
• Interpret policies and consult with clients to determine service impact.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate contracts and service agreements.
• Provide education and training on PFML legislation to internal and external partners.
