Job summary

Intertek is seeking an Operations Coordinator for the Midland, TX facility to review nominations, craft job instructions for inspection teams, and keep clients updated on operations. You will also handle invoicing and foster client relationships while coordinating with lab personnel to ensure timely reporting.

The role involves a mix of dispatch duties, contract coordination, and occasional travel to support field operations, with a focus on accuracy, communication, and service quality.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in an inspection company; understanding of basic contract do's and don'ts.
• Sound knowledge of petroleum and chemical inspection procedures.
• Willingness to travel; ability to build customer relationships and contribute to growth.
• Understanding of client business requirements and how services meet them.
• Knowledge of quality test data and the testing processes core to the business.

Responsibilities

• Manage nominations and assignments for a branch/region.
• Single point of contact for client on branch activities.
• Record nominations, create job orders, and assign identifiers.
• Identify problems in operations, ethics, or compliance and escalate.
