Job summary

Southern States Cooperative in Frederick, MD seeks a Petroleum Driver to operate commercial motor vehicles delivering fuel products, including heating oil, kerosene, diesel, gasoline, and propane. You will load, transport, and install equipment at customer sites, and ensure compliance with DOT and SSC safety policies.

Role requires a CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements, plus Petroleum/Propane certification.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED (GED accepted).
• CDL class required with HazMat endorsement and Tanker endorsement.
• Petroleum and/or Propane Certification or ability to obtain.
• Experience operating CMV delivering fuel and maintaining equipment preferred.
• Must read and follow SSC safety and government regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial motor vehicles delivering fuel products to customers.
• Load, unload, and install equipment at customer sites as required.
• Comply with DOT regulations and SSC safety policies.
• Maintain daily logs, records, and fuel inventory.
• Provide professional communication with customers and suppliers.
