Job summary

Southern States Cooperative is seeking Petroleum Drivers to operate commercial motor vehicles and deliver heating oil, kerosene, diesel, gasoline, and propane to customers. You will comply with safety procedures and DOT regulations while loading, unloading and performing basic maintenance.

Role requires a valid CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements where applicable, propane certification, and the ability to obtain additional endorsements as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid CDL with required endorsements (HazMat; Tanker where applicable).
• Propane certification or ability to obtain within a set period.
• Experience operating CMVs delivering fuel products is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate SSC commercial motor vehicles to deliver heating oil, kerosene, diesel, gasoline, and propane.
• Load, unload, and calibrate equipment; follow DOT regulations and SSC procedures.
• Maintain records, communicate with customers, and perform basic vehicle and equipment maintenance.
