Job summary

Southern States Cooperative, Inc. seeks an experienced Petroleum Driver to safely operate commercial motor vehicles and deliver heating oil, kerosene, diesel, gasoline and propane to customers. You will load, transport and unload fuel, follow SSC procedures, and maintain accurate logs and equipment records.

Expected to meet CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements, and propane certification where required. Minimum high school diploma or GED; may require additional endorsements and training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years Petroleum Driver experience preferred.
• Licensing varies by location; CDL, HazMat and Tanker endorsements may be required.
• Petroleum and/or propane certification or ability to obtain within a period.

Responsibilities

• Operate SSC commercial motor vehicles delivering fuel products to customers.
• Load, calibrate and deliver fuel and equipment per orders and SOPs.
• Follow DOT regulations and SSC safety policies during deliveries.
• Maintain daily logs, records and basic vehicle/equipment maintenance.
