Job summary

Zoetis, Inc. is seeking an Account Manager in the US Petcare Division to optimize sales within a defined geography. This field-based role requires travel and occasional evening educational programs, with candidates living in the territory.

Responsibilities include achieving quotas, launching new products, and applying solution selling while building veterinary practice expertise and strong hospital relationships.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree (BS/BA) required.
• 3-10 years of documented and successful consultative sales experience.
• Animal Health experience and knowledge of small animal veterinary medicine.
• Demonstrates change agent mindset, continuous learner, and willingness to push self/others beyond dominant logic.
• Uses analytics and insights to enhance decision-making and execution.

Responsibilities

• Meet sales objectives (quota) via demand generation within the territory.
• Launch new products and generate leads for equipment.
• Demonstrate solution selling capabilities.
• Build technical knowledge and veterinary practice expertise.
• Develop relationships with hospitals and staff to grow access.
• Follow Zoetis promotional guidelines.
• Develop Territory Business Plan and allocate resources to maximize ROI.
• Meet field activity targets including calls and educational programs.
• Create a call-cycle at account and veterinarian level.
• Collaborate with Zoetis Petcare colleagues with integrity, work ethic, and teamwork.
