HeyTutor has partnered with a school district in Petaluma to hire tutors for elementary students after school, covering TK–5th grade. You will supervise and help students catch up on learning gaps from the past year, and pass an in-person background check.

This role offers consistent hours, a 16-hour work week (M–F 1pm–6pm), and pay of $24–$28 per hour. Benefits include attendance-based incentives, voluntary health care options, and a 401K plan.

Formación

• Experience tutoring elementary students.
• Comfortable in classroom setting.
• Clear FBI-DOJ background check required.
• Clear TB test.
• Must obtain 48 college units OR a high school diploma with district assessment.
• Bilingual with proficiency in English and Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Lead tutoring sessions with groups using provided curriculum.
• Prepare area to start tutoring session.
• Take attendance and track progress via HeyTutor Dashboard.
• Facilitate baseline and summative assessments when requested.
• Create an engaging environment and support positive behavior.
