Job summary

HeyTutor Inc. is partnering with a Petaluma school district to hire tutors for after-school support for TK-5th grade students. You will supervise and assist students, helping them catch up on learning gaps from the past school year.

Positions run M-F, 1pm-6pm (16 hours/week) with in-person background checks required. Competitive hourly pay and benefits accompany this role in a supportive community setting.

Qualifications

• AA or higher degree or current enrollment in college/university.
• Tutoring experience with kids in a classroom or study setting.
• Comfortable working in a classroom environment and following school/site rules.

Responsibilities

• Work with groups of students without a teacher present.
• Prepare area before each tutoring session and setup materials.
• Take attendance and log progress in HeyTutor Dashboard.
• Lead tutoring sessions using provided curriculum and materials.
• Engage students to foster belonging and positive behavior.
• Clock in/out daily for shifts using Deputy system.
• Support additional duties as assigned by management.
