Job summary

HeyTutor Inc. seeks tutors for after-school programs in Petaluma, CA to assist elementary students in TK-5th grade. Work 16 hours/week, Monday–Friday from 1pm to 6pm, in-person supervision and tutoring to close learning gaps.

Compensation is $24–$28 per hour, depending on education and experience. Must pass an in-person background check and engage with students in a supportive classroom setting. We offer attendance-based pay incentives, voluntary health care options, and a 401K plan.

Qualifications

• Tutoring experience with kids preferred.
• Comfortable working in a classroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise groups of students during tutoring sessions.
• Prepare area and materials for tutoring sessions.
• Take attendance and document progress in the dashboard.
• Facilitate baseline and summative assessments when needed.
• Encourage positive behavior and an engaging learning space.
• Clock in/out daily for shifts.
