Job summary

HeyTutor Inc. is partnering with a school district in Petaluma to hire tutors for after-school support for TK-5th grade students. You will supervise and assist students to catch up on learning gaps from the past school year, with an emphasis on in-person, hands-on tutoring.

Scheduling is M-F, 1pm-6pm, totaling 16 hours per week. A background check (IN-PERSON) and TB test are required. We offer competitive pay and benefits to tutors who contribute to student success.

Qualifications

• AA or higher completed or college enrollment.
• Tutoring experience with kids.
• Comfortable in a classroom setting.
• Clear FBI-DOJ background check.
• TB test completed and verified.

Responsibilities

• Lead tutoring sessions for groups of students.
• Prepare area to start tutoring session.
• Take attendance and document progress in HeyTutor Dashboard.
• Support students in making up learning gaps.
• Engage students and maintain positive behavior.
• Perform duties as assigned by manager.
