HeyTutor is hiring tutors to assist elementary students (TK-5th) after school in Petaluma, CA. You will supervise groups, support catching up on learning gaps, and help run lessons using provided curriculum. A background check and TB test are required.

Pay ranges from $24 to $28 per hour, with pay based on education and experience. Ideal for those seeking consistent tutoring hours and community impact.

Qualifications

• AA or higher degree or current college enrollment.
• Tutoring experience with kids is preferred.
• Comfortable working in a classroom setting.
• Clear FBI-DOJ background check (provided through us)
• Clear TB Test.

Responsabilités

• Work with groups of students without a teacher present.
• Prepare area to start tutoring session.
• Possibly pick up/drop off students from designated areas.
• Take attendance and run lessons in the HeyTutor Dashboard.
• Document student progress in the dashboard.
• Facilitate baseline and summative assessments when requested.
• Lead a group using provided curriculum and materials.
• Create an engaging, inclusive tutoring environment.
• Support students in making positive behavior choices.
• Engage with tutoring lessons alongside students.
• Clock in/out of Deputy for shifts.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Company or site.
