Job summary

HeyTutor Inc. is hiring tutors for after-school programs in Petaluma, CA, serving elementary and middle school students (TK-8th). You will supervise groups, track progress, and help students catch up on learning gaps. A background check and TB test are required. Scheduling is Monday through Friday, 1pm–6pm, 16 hours per week.

Pay ranges from $22 to $28 per hour and depends on education and experience. Benefits include health options and a 401K, with a supportive, inclusive work environment.

Qualifications

• Must have tutoring experience with kids.
• Must be comfortable in a classroom setting.
• Clear FBI-DOJ background check.
• Clear TB Test.

Responsibilities

• Tutor groups of students without direct teacher supervision.
• Prepare tutoring area before sessions.
• Take attendance and record progress in HeyTutor Dashboard.
• Lead tutoring sessions using provided curriculum and materials.
• Create a positive, engaging learning environment.
