Petco Animal Supplies, Inc. seeks a skilled Pet Stylist to provide expert grooming services for dogs and other pets. You will bathe, dry, brush, cut hair, trim nails, and perform ear and gland cleaning with a focus on safety and high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Pet Stylist Apprentice program or professional grooming experience.
• High-school diploma or GED preferred.
• Available to work weekends, evenings and holidays.
• Strong attention to detail and passion for animals.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional grooming services including bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts and styling, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and gland cleaning.
• Operate and maintain grooming tools and equipment (clippers, blades, brushes, dryers).
• Prioritize safety and well-being of pets; monitor for discomfort, illness or injury; communicate with pet owners and store management.
• Educate pet parents on grooming maintenance and at-home care to promote pet well-being.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized grooming salon and adhere to Petco policies.
