Qualifications

• Successful completion of Pet Stylist Apprentice program with Petco.
• High-school diploma or GED preferred, though not required.
• Ability to solve grooming issues with guidance while maintaining quality.
• Strong attention to detail and genuine passion for animals.
• Knowledge of breed-specific grooming requirements and standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional grooming services to breed standards and client instructions.
• Operate and maintain grooming tools such as clippers, blades and dryers.
• Prioritize safety, comfort, and well-being of pets; report concerns as needed.
• Interact professionally with pet parents, offering grooming recommendations and care tips.
• Train, supervise, or support trainees when Grooming Salon Leader is absent.
