Job summary

Petsense by Tractor Supply Company is seeking a team member to support store leadership in daily operations, customer service, and merchandising. The role includes assisting with opening/closing procedures, handling merchandise, and ensuring a safe environment for team members and customers.

Responsibilities also include cash handling, assisting in loading purchases, and training new team members while adhering to policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Retail experience and/or pet/live animal knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager with operational, sales and merchandising objectives.
• Provide outstanding customer service and promote a safe work environment.
• Open/close procedures; handle cash register and deposits; ensure cash drawers balance.
• Execute merchandising plans, pricing changes and Plan-o-gram requirements.
• Assist customers with loading purchases and care for live animals as required.
• Train Team Members and complete documentation for duties.
