Job summary

Petsense by Tractor Supply in Texas is seeking a team member to support the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in achieving operational, sales, and merchandising goals while delivering outstanding customer service.

The role involves promoting a safe environment, training team members, and caring for live animals, with duties ranging from opening/closing, stock organization, to cashier responsibilities. Flexible shifts are expected.

Qualifications

• Retail experience and/or pet/live animal knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work varied hours including nights, weekends and overtime as needed.
• Uphold a safe and productive work environment by following policies.
• Assist in selling initiatives and engage customers.
• Perform merchandising, opening/closing, and price change tasks.
• Handle cash register and ensure accurate cash handling.
