Job summary

Independent Pet Partners is seeking a motivated Supervisor to lead daily store operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and promote pet health through knowledgeable product recommendations. You will partner with the Store Manager to drive sales, manage front-end duties, and maintain a welcoming, clean store environment.

Ideal candidates have retail and supervisory experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Passion for extraordinary customer service and pet well-being.
• Retail sales experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn about products/services offered.
• Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal & written.
• Able to work evenings and weekends.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with an exceptional experience.
• Assist the Store Manager in overall store operations.
• Share product knowledge to fit customer needs and promote pet health.
• Perform front-end duties: cash register, bagging, replenishing merchandise, displays.
• Organize and maintain a clean store front and stock room.
• Assist with projects including markdowns, re-tickets, labeling, events.
• All other duties from Store Manager or Retail Management Team.
