Job summary

IPP - Independent Pet Partners in Brooklyn Park, MN is seeking a Part-time supervisor to deliver outstanding service to our pet parents and lead store operations. You will help manage daily activities, share product knowledge, and support health and nutrition guidance for pets.

You will also handle front-end duties, maintain a clean store environment, and participate in special events while working a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Passion for extraordinary customer service and pet well-being.
• Professional retail sales experience preferred.
• Professional supervisory experience preferred.
• Willingness to be educated about products and services.
• Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with an exceptional experience.
• Assist the Store Manager in overall management of store operations.
• Share product knowledge and suggestions to fit customer needs and promote pet health.
• Perform front end duties such as cash register, bagging, replenishing merchandise, and preparing displays.
• Organize and maintain a clean store front and stock room.
• Assist with other projects including markdowns, re-tickets, labeling products, and special store events.
• All other assigned duties from Store Manager or Retail Management Team.
