Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Passion for customer service and pet well-being.
• Minimum 1 year of professional retail sales experience.
• Minimum 1 year of professional managerial experience.
• Willingness to be educated about products and services.
• Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets.
• Excellent communication skills—verbal and written.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with an exceptional experience.
• Assist the Store Manager in overall management of store operations.
• Share product knowledge and suggestions to meet customer needs and promote pet health.
• Coach and lead Team Members to provide an exceptional guest experience and achieve sales goals.
• Oversee inventory: replenishment, adjustments, weekly cycle counts, store transfers, RTVs, shipments.
• Organize special store events and promotions.
• Interact with pet parents in person, via email, text, and phone.
• Perform front-end duties: cash register, bagging, displays.
• All other duties from Store Manager or Retail Management Team.
