Job summary

Chuck & Don's Fort Collins is seeking anAssistant Store Manager to lead store Team Members and support the Store Manager in daily operations. You will ensure exceptional guest experiences, drive sales, and manage inventory and displays.

The role requires at least 1 year of retail and 1 year of managerial experience, a passion for pets, strong communication, and the ability to work evenings and weekends. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Passion for extraordinary customer service and the well-being of pets.
• Minimum 1 year of professional retail sales experience.
• Minimum 1 year of professional managerial experience.
• Willingness to be educated about the products and services offered.
• Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets.
• Excellent communication skills-both verbal and written.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with an exceptional experience.
• Assist the Store Manager in overall management of store operations.
• Share product knowledge to meet customer needs and promote pet health.
• Coach and lead Team Members to achieve sales goals.
• Oversee inventory, replenishment, cycle counts, and shipments.
• Organize special store events and promotions.
• Interact with pet parents in person, via email, text, and phone.
• Perform front-end duties including cash handling and displays.
• Carry out other duties from Store Manager or Retail Management Team.
