Job summary

Chuck & Don's is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in the United States (Minnesota region) to lead store teams and drive performance. You will focus on delivering outstanding customer service, promoting pet health, and achieving sales targets while supporting day-to-day operations.

The role requires managerial experience, retail sales background, and a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. Benefits and growth opportunities are offered with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Minimum 1 year of professional retail sales experience.
• Minimum 1 year of professional managerial experience.
• Willingness to be educated about the products and services offered.
• Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets.
• Excellent communication skills-both verbal and written.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including evenings and weekends.
• Time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with an exceptional experience.
• Assist the Store Manager in overall management of store operations.
• Share product knowledge and suggestions to meet customer needs and promote pet health.
• Coach and lead Team Members to provide an exceptional guest experience and achieve sales goals.
• Oversee inventory including replenishment, adjustments, weekly cycle counts, transfers, RTVs, and shipments.
• Organize special store events and promotions.
• Interact with pet parents in-person, via email, text, and phone.
• Perform front-end duties such as cash handling, bagging, replenishing, and displays.
• Execute other duties from the Store Manager or Retail Management Team.
