Chuck & Don's in Minnetonka, MN seeks a Store Manager who can inspire and lead a team to deliver outstanding pet care and customer service. You will drive sales growth, manage scheduling, and ensure merchandising aligns with brand standards while upholding store operations and safety.

The role requires 2+ years in retail sales and 2+ years in management, with a focus on targets, budget awareness, and flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 2 years of professional retail sales experience.
• Minimum 2 year of professional managerial experience.
• Budget and P&L management experience preferred.
• Willingness to be educated about the products and services offered.
• Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets.
• Excellent communication skills-both verbal and written.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including evenings and weekends.
• Time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Trains, motivates, and supervises store staff, providing guidance, feedback, and support to foster a positive work environment.
• Creates and implements strategies to drive sales growth and achieve store targets.
• Creates and maintains scheduling for store team members.
• Exhibits discretionary authority, prepares reports, and holds self and team accountable for performance measures and initiatives.
• Creates an environment of kindness and empathy towards pets and pet parents.
• Communicates commitment to holistic pet wellness.
• Ensures store maintains excellent customer service standards and addresses inquiries promptly.
• Manages day-to-day store operations, including opening/closing, cash handling, and banking.
• Executes merchandising strategies to optimize displays and sales.
• Shares product knowledge and suggests fits for customer needs.
• Performs front-end duties and prepares displays.
• Oversees inventory, replenishment, cycle counts, transfers, and shipments.
• Represents the company professionally with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Organizes store events and promotions to boost loyalty and engagement.
• Maintains store cleanliness, organization, and safety.
• Keeps informed on industry trends and competition to stay competitive.
• All other duties as assigned by Retail Management Team.
