Job summary

Chuck & Don's is seeking a Store Manager who will lead a team to deliver exceptional pet care and service. You will train staff, drive sales, and manage daily operations including cash handling, inventory, and merchandising.

A passion for pets and strong leadership are essential for success in our busy Minnesota markets. The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, plus at least two years in retail management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Excellent communication skills-both verbal and written.
• Minimum 2 years of professional retail sales experience.
• Minimum 2 years of professional managerial experience.
• Budget and P&L management experience preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Trains, motivates, and supervises store staff, providing guidance and feedback.
• Drives sales growth and achieves store targets.
• Creates and maintains scheduling for store team members.
• Manages day-to-day store operations including opening/closing and cash handling.
• Executes merchandising strategies and enhances product displays.
• Oversees inventory, transfers, and shipments.
• Organizes store events and promotions to build loyalty and satisfaction.
