Job summary

K9 Resorts of Dumbo seeks a Pet Resort Supervisor to energize our team and uphold the high standards of care for pets and guests. You will support the General Manager, oversee staff across daily operations, and ensure exceptional service with flexibility for weekends and holidays.

You must love dogs, excel in customer service, and lead by example in a fast-paced luxury pet care environment. This role requires reliable availability and a proactive mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience in pet boarding, luxury hospitality, or high-end retail.
• Outstanding interpersonal relationship-building and employee coaching and development skills.
• Ability to remain calm under highly stressful and unexpected situations.
• Dependable and responsible.
• Effective communication skills with all types of people; mediation and problem-solving.

• Be knowledgeable of all basic functions of the point-of-sale system.
• Open the building in the morning and ensure its security at closing when necessary.
• Feed/medicate dogs when necessary.
• Oversee all cleaning and disinfecting procedures.
• Be capable of performing any job requirement of any staff member except the owner/General Manager.
