Job summary

NVA Pet Resorts is seeking an Assistant General Manager for our Advantage Pet Center in Largo, Florida. You will partner with the General Manager to run day-to-day operations, develop the team, and deliver outstanding care to pets and clients.

You’ll lead with a focus on culture, guest experience, and financial performance, while coaching shifts and maintaining staffing, procedures, and brand standards. This full-time role offers growth within a large network of pet resorts and veterinary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 to 4 years of customer service experience (leadership experience is a plus).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems.
• Availability to work up to 45 to 50 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead with the General Manager to create a engaging, high-performance workplace culture.
• Maintain exceptional pet care and guest experience while managing resort operations.
• Support marketing and local lead-generation efforts to grow memberships and services.
• Monitor KPIs and budgets, adjust staffing and schedules to meet targets.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, and train team members and provide timely feedback.
