Job summary

NVA Pet Resorts, part of National Veterinary Associates, is hiring an Assistant General Manager. You will support the General Manager in daily operations, mentor Shift Leads, and ensure exceptional pet care and guest service across the resort.

You’ll help drive sales, manage labor and expenses, and foster a positive culture where teams feel supported and empowered to deliver premium experiences for pets and their families.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of customer service experience (leadership experience a plus).
• Hospitality, retail, restaurant, or veterinary experience preferred.
• Strong communication and people leadership skills.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and up to 45–50 hours per week.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Lead by setting an example and coaching Shift Leads and Team Members.
• Oversee daily operations, guest experience, and facility standards.
• Drive sales, memberships, and service growth while managing labor and expenses.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop team members to build future leaders.
