Job summary

NVA Pet Resorts is seeking an Assistant General Manager for the Posh Pet Hotel resort in West Palm Beach, Florida. You will partner with the General Manager to run day-to-day operations, build the team, and deliver outstanding care for pets and their people.

Lead a culture of excellence, drive financial performance through revenue growth and cost control, and coach Shift Leads and Team Members to grow capability and confidence.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years in customer service, leadership experience a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead teams in a hands-on environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and POS systems.
• Willingness to work up to 45–50 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and a vehicle for pet transport in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead Resort Leadership Team in partnership with General Manager.
• Drive smooth operations and exceptional pet care and customer service.
• Manage revenue growth and cost control for strong financial performance.
• Develop and engage team through coaching and accountability.
• Ensure staffing, scheduling, and labor guidelines are followed.
• Train teams on resort tasks and standards; conduct daily audits and reporting.
