Job summary

NVA Pet Resorts is seeking an Assistant General Manager to help lead a high-performing team and support day-to-day operations across our resort locations. You will work closely with the General Manager to drive guest experience, staff development, and operational excellence.

Ideal candidates bring 2–4 years in customer service with leadership, a passion for pets, and strong communication skills. This role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and up to 45–50 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Passion for pets and delivering excellent customer service.
• 2–4 years of customer service experience; leadership experience a plus.
• Ability to coach and develop frontline staff.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations in the resort in partnership with the General Manager.
• Coach, train, and develop Shift Leads and Team Members.
• Ensure pet care, cleanliness, safety, and facility standards are met.
• Lead Manager on Duty 1–2 shifts per week and manage scheduling.
• Drive sales, memberships, and service growth; monitor KPIs and take action.
• Participate in recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training.
