Job summary

NVA Pet Resorts is seeking an hands-on, full-time Assistant General Manager for City Bark - 8th Ave in Denver, CO. You will partner with the General Manager to run day-to-day operations, develop the team, and deliver outstanding care and service to pets and their people.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Leadership experience is a plus and beneficial for this role.
• Strong communication skills and comfortable leading teams in a hands-on environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations with the General Manager to ensure excellent pet care and customer service.
• Drive 1 to 2 shifts per week as Manager on Duty to set expectations and inspect results.
• Support budgeting, scheduling, and expense management to meet performance targets.
• Partner with the GM on recruiting, onboarding, and training for the resort team.
• Help implement data-driven plans tied to KPIs and budget targets.
