Job summary

Lucys Doggy Daycare & Spa Thousand Oaks is seeking a friendly Customer Service Representative to be the first contact for our clients and their pets. You will greet guests, answer questions about boarding, grooming, and daycare services, and help ensure every pet and owner has a fantastic experience with us.

Responsibilities include welcoming animals and owners, handling calls and emails, scheduling, front desk operations, and coordinating with grooming and kennel staff.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication across phone, email, and in person.
• Team-oriented with a customer-first approach.
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet pets and humans with a friendly welcome.
• Answer calls/emails with accurate, helpful information on services.
• Schedule appointments and manage reservations.
• Assist with front desk check-ins/check-outs and pet care needs.
• Coordinate with grooming/kennel staff for pet requirements.
• Document pet/vet information and use kennel software.
• Escort dogs to play areas and maintain front office cleanliness.
• Maintain a neat, welcoming office appearance and desk organization.
