NVA Pet Resorts is seeking an Assistant General Manager for our Pompano Pet Lodge in Pompano Beach, FL. You will partner with the GM to run daily operations, coach the team, and ensure outstanding care for pets and their people.

The role emphasizes culture, leadership, and performance in a hands-on setting. You will help drive guest satisfaction, financial performance, and staff engagement while maintaining high standards across safety, cleanliness, and service.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of customer service experience (leadership experience is a plus).
• Strong communication skills and comfort leading teams in a hands-on environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems.
• Availability to work up to 45 to 50 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license, current insurance, and a vehicle to transport a pet in emergencies.
• Ability to support and influence workplace change and improvement.

• Develop and retain team through coaching and accountability.
• Lead shifts as Manager on Duty to set expectations and inspect results.

• Train teams across all resort tasks and operating standards.
• Execute daily audits, checklists, and end-of-shift reporting.
• Support marketing programs and local lead-generation efforts.
• Build relationships with local businesses and referral sources.
