Job summary

RAYUS Radiology in Lewiston, Maine is looking for a Part-Time PET & Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. You will operate imaging equipment to create diagnostic images, prepare radioactive drugs and administer them intravenously, and prepare exams for analysis.

Requirements include an Associate’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology, NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification, state licensure if required, and BLS/ACLS/CPR. This 30-hour weekly role offers benefits and DailyPay options.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
Graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine radiography program.
NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification.
State licensure as Nuclear Medicine Technologist if required.
Certification in imaging specialty.
Ability to perform Nuclear Medicine procedures independently.
Cross-train as a PET Tech.

Responsibilities

Operate PET and Nuclear Medicine imaging equipment to acquire diagnostic images.
Prepare and administer radioactive drugs intravenously.
Perform daily and weekly quality control on imaging equipment.
Explain procedures to patients and answer questions.
Maintain safety and compliance with state/federal guidelines.
Assist physicians with diagnosis by ensuring accurate imaging.
Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and equipment.
