Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or equivalent.
- NMTCB Certification and Florida license or eligibility.
- AMA-approved radiography program graduate.
- CPR and ACLS certifications.
- Certification in imaging specialty.
Responsibilities
- Operate Gamma Camera and PET/CT imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images.
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals via IV as required.
- Adhere to safety guidelines for handling radioactive materials and waste.
- Perform quality control tests and ensure equipment accuracy.
- Maintain exam rooms and stock essential supplies.
- Assist physicians in achieving accurate diagnoses through imaging.
