Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a Pet & Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a part-time role (30 hours weekly). The candidate will operate PET and Nuclear Medicine imaging equipment, prepare radiopharmaceuticals, and assist with patient care and exam preparation per established protocols.

Strong emphasis on safety, accuracy, and patient communication is required. Required: associate degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology, NMTCB/ARRT(N) certification, state licensure (as applicable), BLS/ACLS/CPR

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology is required.
• Graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine radiography program.
• Certification NMTCB or ARRT (N) current and in good standing.
• Licensed Nuclear Medicine Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
• Certification in imaging specialty.
• Ability to perform Nuclear Medicine procedures independently.
• Cross-train as a Pet Tech.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform PET and Nuclear Medicine imaging per RAYUS protocols.
• Operate imaging equipment to create diagnostic images.
• Prepare radiopharmaceuticals and administer intravenously.
• Maintain safety for patients and staff per guidelines.
• Assist physicians with diagnosis and interpretation.
• Quality control testing on equipment daily and weekly.
• Gather detailed patient medical history and chart accurately.
• Maintain clean exam rooms and adequate supplies.
• Support ACR accreditation activities as needed.
