Job summary
RAYUS Radiology is seeking a PET & Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Florida to operate gamma cameras and PET/CT equipment, prepare radiopharmaceuticals, and ensure safe handling of radioactive materials. This full-time position runs Monday–Friday, 9:00AM–5:30PM, with strong patient interaction and QC duties.
The ideal candidate will hold NMTCB certification, be licensed as a Radiologic Technologist in Florida, and have CPR and ACLS credentials.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or equivalent education.
- Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) certification in good standing.
Responsibilities
- Operate gamma cameras and PET/CT equipment to acquire diagnostic images.
- Prepare radioactive drugs and administer them to patients.
- Ensure safety and proper handling of radioactive materials and waste.
- Perform daily/weekly quality control to maintain equipment accuracy.
- Explain procedures to patients and assist physicians with diagnosis.
