Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a PET/CT Technologist to operate imaging equipment and provide patient-centered care. The role involves preparing patients, performing PET/CT scans, and ensuring accurate documentation while maintaining safety standards across the department.

The ideal candidate holds NMTCB or ARRT Nuclear Medicine certification, AMA radiography training, and CPR certification, with experience performing PET/CT independently. This is a PRN position with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• NMTCB or ARRT registered technologist in Nuclear Medicine, in good standing.
• Graduate of AMA approved radiography program.
• Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state.
• Current CPR certification.
• Eligible to perform PET/CT procedures independently.
• Certification in imaging specialty.

Responsibilities

• Operate PET/CT scanner(s) to produce diagnostic images with patient-centered care.
• Explain procedures and prep patients, guiding them through exam steps.
• Maintain accurate patient records in RIS and ensure safety compliance.
• Perform quality control and manage equipment care per ACR/AOA standards.
• Provide PET/CT department support and assist with training as needed.
