Job summary

Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform dose preparation, administration, and imaging procedures. The role includes SPECT/PET imaging and radiopharmacy tasks with emphasis on safety and accuracy.

Schedule is dayshift with minimal on-call as needed. Responsibilities include ensuring quality control, maintaining records per Florida regulations, and delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced radiology setting.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an approved school of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • Maintains CNMT or ARRT(N) certification or Florida license (with BLS).
  • Knowledge of radiation safety and nuclear medicine procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Performs diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures, including PET, SPECT, and radiopharmacy functions.
  • Executes quality control on Nuclear Medicine instrumentation.
  • Delivers patient care with professional judgment and safety.
  • Maintains records per Florida Radiation Control requirements.
  • Performs venipuncture and prepares radiopharmaceutical doses.
  • Assists in administering radiopharmaceuticals under supervision.
