Job summary

Fetch is seeking a Pet Insurance Sales Associate to join our team at the Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA in Charlottesville, VA. You will convert opportunities into sales and deliver a customer-first experience while educating pet parents on the value of Fetch pet insurance.

Success requires a confident, consultative approach, on-site presence at partner locations, and a passion for helping pets and their humans. This role offers base pay plus potential bonuses and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license or willing to obtain within 30 days of employment, subject to state requirements.
• 3–5 years in an animal care role.
• Proven ability to prospect and convert opportunities into sales.
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships using a consultative, solution-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Represent Fetch at our partner location in the Charlottesville area as a confident, trusted advisor selling pet insurance to prospective pet parents.
• Communicate Fetch advantages and demonstrate knowledge of Fetch and competitor products.
• Record prospect and customer information accurately in Fetch CRM.
• Develop relationships with partner locations to meet performance objectives and expectations.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify new business opportunities and participate in focus meetings.
• Attend monthly company meetings or check-ins as required.
• Manage expense budgets and submit reports monthly.
