Job summary

Fetch Pet Insurance seeks a Pet Insurance Sales Associate to partner with Charleston Animal Society in Charleston, SC. You will convert opportunities into policy sales, delivering a friendly, consultative experience for pet families while upholding Fetch standards.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in animal care, hold an active P&C license (or obtained within 30 days), and can work Fri–Sun peak hours. Travel to events and CRM record-keeping are part of the role, with strong commission potential.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license or willingness to obtain one within 30 days of employment.
• Proven self-starter with 3-5 years of experience in an animal care role.
• Ability to structure your work week during peak hours (Friday‑Sunday).
• Strong communication skills – excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written.
• Demonstrated customer service skills and the ability to understand Fetch's customers’ needs.
• Willingness to travel to various industry events as required.
• Strong problem-solving ability and independence within a fast-paced sales cycle.

Responsibilities

• Represent Fetch as a confident, friendly, trusted advisor to sell pet insurance policies to prospective pet parents at our partner location in the Charleston area.
• Communicate competitive advantages of Fetch, demonstrating a deep understanding of Fetch and competitor pet health insurance products.
• Turn prospects into loyal clients, raving fans, and repeat customers.
• Accurately record prospect and customer information in Fetch CRM.
• Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel at our partner locations to assist in meeting performance objectives and partner expectations monthly.
• Proactively assess partner needs on an ongoing basis through onsite focus and follow-up meetings.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities for new business.
• Communicate with peers via chat to identify challenges and successes.
• Virtually attend monthly company meetings or check-ins as required.
• Manage expense budget and submit completed reports monthly.
• Handle all administrative tasks and responsibilities relative to the partnership.
• Live up to Fetch’s commitment to continuously exceed customer expectations.
