Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking Veterinary Receptionists to be the first point of contact for clients. You will greet clients warmly, communicate clearly, and coordinate appointments while remaining calm in emotional situations.

Responsibilities include assessing arrivals, triaging emergencies, connecting callers to the right team, and offering compassionate support to grieving clients. Weekend rotation is required, with pay of $17.00 - $26.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Greet clients warmly and listen to their needs.
• Speak clearly, slowly and calmly on-site and over the phone.
• Assess arrival needs and determine emergency vs standard status.
• Confirm appointments and prepare clients for visits.
• Provide emotional support to grieving clients and share resources.
• Serve as liaison between clients and the care team.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge clients as they enter the hospital.
• Answer calls, route to the appropriate team member.
• Schedule, verify, and remind about appointments.
• Assess urgent cases and respond appropriately.
• Support clients emotionally during stressful moments.
• Assist with pet remains handling coordination when needed.
