You will be the first and last friendly contact for clients and pets, delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring a smooth visit. You will manage the phone, schedule appointments, greet visitors by name, coordinate with technical staff, and help maintain a clean, welcoming waiting area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required. Customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Compassionate and sympathetic, able to handle emotional situations.
• Strong telephone and computer skills necessary for daily tasks.
• Team player willing to learn new techniques and engage with staff.

Responsibilities

• Answer the practice phone and route calls to appropriate staff.
• Maintain hospital appointment calendar and online bookings.
• Greet visitors and clients by name; manage wait times.
• Assist in training new staff and share knowledge as needed.
• Keep waiting area clean and stocked; ensure disinfectant use as needed.
• Confirm appointments via client’s preferred contact method.
• Provide backup support to staff for room loading and discharge tasks.
